Tymeac can run in under 200K on the
"K" Virtual Machine (J2ME) or 300K on J2SE while the large application servers
require a 1GB minimum on the J2EE.
Tymeac only needs 6MB of disk storage
for EVERYTHING (classes, documentation, scripts, samples) while the large application
servers require in excess of 40GB just for the server.
Tymeac does not require a DBMS, not
even local file access, while the large application servers require a DBMS.
Tymeac can run imbedded in any
application (server, desktop, handheld, etc.) while the large application servers require
a large, separate, network attached machine.
Tymeac imbedded server may be shut
down to recover storage while the large application servers cannot.
Tymeac can run as an activatable RMI
Server while the large application servers require a perpetual J2EE container.
Tymeac can be a Jini
service while the large application servers cannot.
Tymeac is easy to use -- Simply
put requests in queues for processing by application threads while the large application
servers require:
- Extensive education in order for you to design, implement and integrate your
applications.
- Acquiescence to snails pace development rates.
- High cost, vendor certified, multi-level support personnel.
- Your obsequious devotion to the administration gods.
Tymeac may reside within any J2EE
container.
Tymeac RMI Server, local or remote, is
accessible from any EJB or Servlet.
Tymeac Jini
Server is accessible from any EJB or Servlet.
If you need the power of a large application server then go with it.
If you need a superb queuing and threading environment that can run anywhere (J2ME,
J2SE and J2EE) then welcome to Tymeac.
