"K" Virtual Machine (J2ME) or 300K on J2SE while the large application servers
require a 1GB minimum on the J2EE.
Tymeac™ only needs 6MB of disk storage
for EVERYTHING (classes, documentation, scripts, samples) while the large application
servers require in excess of 40GB just for the server.
Tymeac™ does not require a DBMS, not
even local file access, while the large application servers require a DBMS.
Tymeac™ can run imbedded in any
application (server, desktop, handheld, etc.) while the large application servers require
a large, separate, network attached machine.
Tymeac™ imbedded server may be shut
down to recover storage while the large application servers cannot.
Tymeac™ can run as an activatable RMI
