Tymeac^™ comprises
     five different  non-activatable Servers,
     three different activatable Servers and
     an internal Server.

Non-activatable Servers:

Basic RMI Server -- Just your simple Server.

Custom Socket Factory RMI Server -- A basic RMI Server that supports your custom socket factories.

IIOP Server -- A basic RMI Server that extends javax.rmi.PortableRemoteObject.

Portable Object Adapter Server -- A basic IIOP Server that extends org.omg.PortableServer.Servant.

Jini^™ Server -- A basic RMI Server for the Jini^™ environment.

Activatable Servers:

Basic RMI Server -- Just your simple Server that is activatable.

Custom Socket Factory RMI Server -- A basic RMI Server that supports your custom socket factories and is activatable.

Jini^™ Server -- A basic RMI Server for the Jini^™ environment that is activatable.

Internal Server:

The full power and functionality of a superb queuing and threading environment with all the bells and whistles of the RMI Servers. You may embed the internal Server in any application.

If all you need is a simple RMI Server, then look at the non-activatable, Basic RMI Server. You can pick up the rest as you need it.
